Artist Bio
Hi! My name is Wendy and I have been fusing glass for more than twenty years. After my very first piece I knew I was hooked. I love the way glass transforms in the kiln…it goes from a solid to a taffy-like consistency that can be manipulated and designed. I love working at high temperatures but I also love working cold with glass powders, stringers, frits and sheet glass. I am always experimenting and finding new ways to work with the glass. Even after all this time, I find glass an exciting medium. Almost every time I open the kiln it feels like Christmas morning!
