Artist Bio
After Graduating from The Sage School In 2021, I founded One Whittle Guy LLC that August. But that wasn’t my start in woodworking. I started 7 years ago with a scroll saw experimenting in the world of wood. The year after that their was only one thing on my Christmas list. Not video games, not a new bike. It was a benchtop wood lathe. This was my start in woodworking and up until January of 2022 I was all self taught with a limited access to the DIY woodworking tools the my father had from years before. In January of 2022 I attended a woodworking certificate program at Yestermorrow Design and Build School in Waitsfield Vermont. In this program I honed many of my self taught skills and learned so many new skills. I have continued to build out my tiny shop to make bigger and better things.
Artist Statement
Bespoke Functional Wood Art Work. My belief is that we should be surround by work that shows of the beauty that the natural world has to offer.
