Artist Bio
At a young age I was introduced to painting and ballet by my mother. I studied ballet under a Russian master, as well as studying under a well known Spanish oil painter. As a dance performer and instructor in my earlier years, I was trained to be fluid yet disciplined. Now, after 40 years of mastering the art of Chinese brush painting, I am grateful to express the freedom of each precious moment in these changing times. This series of new paintings is a dance on canvas. Each took seconds to create, yet a lifetime of training, and “miles of paper and canvas.”
