I have been woodworking since I was a young boy and became hooked when I took woodshop in junior high school. By the time I started law school, I had constructed the dining and coffee tables that I used in my apartment. My shop was quiet while my daughters were young, and I rekindled my hobby about 20 years ago when I started turning bowls.
I love to be in the shop making sawdust – the world goes away….. One of my favorite tools is a radial arm saw that my father purchased at about the time I was born; I have used it since childhood and continue to do so. My projects are mostly small and include decorative and functional bowls, boxes and trays, cutting and cheese boards, backgammon and cribbage boards, and wooden objects.
